Packaging
Master and base unit are delivered together in one box, battery modules are packed individually
Always transport the storage units in the original carton with hazardous goods labelling and check the packaging for transport damage
- Document the damage on the delivery note and have this confirmed by signature
- Reject deliveries with severe damage
- Inform your supplier immediately
- Damaged modules must not be installed
Transport
Lithium-ion cells are dangerous goods, the German Dangerous Goods Transport Act (GGBefG, national regulations) applies
Craftsmen may transport a maximum of 1,000 hazardous goods points. This corresponds to 9 modules of the VARTA.wall.
Storage
The products (battery modules, master unit, base unit) must be installed by a qualified and VARTA-certified electrician within 12 months of the production date (see the label on the packaging).
Storage time at constant temperature and dry environment:
- At -20 to +50 °C: less than 1 month
- At -20 to +35 °C: less than 3 months
- At -20 to +25 °C: less than 12 months
