Proper transport and storage for a long-lasting, intact battery
Packaging
Battery cabinet and battery module are supplied individually packed on a pallet
Always transport the storage units in the original carton with hazardous goods labelling and check the packaging for transport damage
- Document the damage on the delivery note and have this confirmed by signature
- Reject deliveries with severe damage
- Inform your supplier immediately
- Damaged modules must not be installed
Transport
Lithium-ion cells are dangerous goods, the German Dangerous Goods Transport Act (GGBefG, national regulations) applies
Craftsmen may transport a maximum of 1,000 hazardous goods points. This corresponds to 6 VARTA pulse neos modules with 6.5 kWh each.
Storage
The VARTA battery modules must be commissioned and registered by a qualified specialist certified by VARTA Storage within 20 weeks of delivery from the manufacturer's factory
Storage at a constant temperature between 5 and 30 °C, optimally 18 °C
