The VARTA element backup offers an emergency power function for selective consumers, which can be realised via the VARTA emergency power box. In the event of a mains failure, the energy storage system automatically switches to emergency power mode. The VARTA element also offers black start capability.
With an additional battery module of up to 19.5 kWh, the VARTA element backup is perfect for any home. The storage capacity can also be subsequently expanded with an additional battery module if requirements increase.
The VARTA element enables direct communication with various PV inverters without additional hardware.
The VARTA element backup as a complete AC system with integrated battery inverter is perfect for both retrofitting and new installations.
If required, the storage capacity can be expanded at any time by connecting up to five VARTA energy storage units with the VARTA Link or the VARTA pulse neo.
Manual settings for PV yield optimisation are possible in the web interface in order to avoid yield losses due to PV curtailment.
